Book Review - The Mysteries of Pittsburgh - Michael Chabon - 3.5 stars

good first novel from michael chabon, not quite up to the level of wonder boys or the amazing adventures of kavalier and clay.

tells the story of art bechstein, after he graduates from college, aimless summer of falling in love with a woman named phlox, a man named arthur, and befriending an alcoholic named cleveland. some interesting tales and compulsively readable. nothing fantastic buy enjoyable nonetheless...
